This low diameter, round premium braid yields exceptionally high breaking strains compared to nylon monofilament yet remains incredibly supple with minimal stretch (less than 4%) enhancing casting, bite detection (even at extreme range) and control of terminal tackle.  Antares Special Dyneema is made from high performance polyethylene fibre, noted for it's superior abrasion resistance and hi knot strength whilst the fibres are platted at a remarkable 8 per centimetre to ensure minimum absorption of water.  Due to its softness, Antares Special Dyneema is also less prone to line twist and on waters affected by flow, tide or undertow, the low diameter to breaking strain ratio means that less weight is required to get perfect presentation even at extreme range.  Not forgetting of course the sensational feel of playing fish on Antares Special Dyneema; the ultimate angling experience, as every minute twist and turn of a fish on the end of the line is felt.  The special spun low friction coating of Antares Special Dyneema greatly reduces rod ring noise when playing fish and retrieving heavy terminal tackle and also ensures that it casts like a dream.  Used in conjunction with a suitable shock leader even the modest caster can reach previously uncharted waters to catch those extra fish from land, sea or shore.
