The Challenger Series are ultra slim, lightweight, fast taper rods; superbly finished with red, gold and black whippings on burgundy blanks. What sets the Challengers apart from other rods is their ability to deliver leads and baits massive distances, way out in to the breakers: whether using simple overhead casts or off the ground and pendulum techniques. All tips are soft enough to spot delicate bites at range but retain enough stiffness to minimise movement in windy conditions. The top 12 inches of each tip section is luminous white, aiding bite detection at night.

Three models are available in the Challenger Beach series: two 13' multiplier models, the Beach and Beach Match; and an 11' 8" Bass version can be used with either fixed spool or multipliers. The Beach Match is versatile enough for fishing close in for small flatfish and coalfish, but has the power to put a three-hook scratching rig or single big bait out to long range when needed. The 13' Beachcaster is ideal for general rough ground fishing and winter coding in heavy seas. The final rod is the Bass, designed to perform in heavy surf conditions when targeting bass over rough ground. The rod is powerful in the middle and butt to set hooks at long range and muscle fish away.
