Backlash System to give longer, smoother casting. The reversed taper, high
diameter metal spool reduces friction generated by line leaving the reel by
as much as 50 percent. Accompanying ABS is our highly responsive, micro
adjustable front drag, delivering superb fish control. The large no-nonsense
soft grip handle combined with the geared down ratios delivers a high level
of winding power but still cranks over a meter of line per turn on the 5500
and 6000. Multiple ball bearings, ten on the Emcast Plus and seven on the
Emcast, ensure a smooth power transmission and silky retrieve while the
infinite anti-reverse allows perfect alignment of bail arm and rollers. Both
